Countdown to Beauty Expo.....

The Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo, the largest event in Australia for the spa and beauty industries)  is being held this weekend 13-14th August in Sydney Australia and I am so very excited as I get to jump on a plane this Friday and go.

I am heading to Sydney to see the incredible line up in 2011, including the highest calibre of talent, the best of the beauty business, and the highly anticipated beauty competitions!

Some of the beauty exhibitors I cannot wait to see include:

Eminence (Handmade Organic SkinCare from Hungary)

Eminence offers a complete line of beauty essentials, which contain the highest possible levels of all-natural organically grown herbs, fruits and vegetables, hand-selected to guarantee their highest quality.  I have been lucky to sample some of these products before the expo and I absolutely love everything that I have tried. From the moment I opened the first tester for the Raspberry Pore Refining Mask I was hooked, as the delicious smell makes you want to just eat it!  I was lucky to get 3 masks out of the tester after Tamara (Green Living Cosmetics) instructed me to apply a small amount and then wet my fingers to spread the product over my face. I then left it on for approximately 15 minutes.

How good does it look....looks good enough to eat and smells it too!

Each time I used the mask, my skin felt moisturised and my makeup went on beautifully when I applied it the next day. I could tell my skin had been nourished with lots of goodness and although I have very sensitive skin and sometimes even react to organic products, all I experienced were great results.

I am also looking forward to meeting Michael from Spa Sounds, Jai from Absolute Spa with their special overseas guest (Mr Jeff Losito from Bioelements), Tim from Emani Minerals and Katrina from Carawa Cosmetics and learning more about all these businesses!

I  also can't wait for the competitions......The Makeup Awards at the Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo will heat up the floor with talented Australian makeup artists pulling out all the beauty stops to be crowned number 1! There are three categories in the makeup competition: The legends of Pop Rock, Runway Inspired and Brides Through The Ages. Competing live on the main stage each day, Australia’s talented makeup artists will  perform under pressure to create these awe-inspiring looks.

 

 

Rachael Montgomery...2011 Makeup Artist of the Year is presenting her expert know-how on using colour, drawing on her broad range of experience and knowledge in makeup and international makeup artist Nicola Burford will be sharing her knowledge too.I have some exciting news about Nicola and Rachael but you will have to stay tuned to hear it!

So much to see...so much to do in so little time! Eeeek......well off to Sydney I go....I look forward to sharing all I find out while I am there with you!
