Brow Crush at the Golden Globes 2012

The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards were held this week at the Beverley Hilton Hotel in Beverley Hills USA. The Golden Globes recognize achievements in 25 categories; 14 in motion pictures and 11 in television. The Eyebrow Expert eagerly awaits these awards to award some additional awards. This year it was very easy, I think tinseltown have been remembering to look after the asset that everyone sees!

Winner of the Most Stunning Brows.......Maria Menounos

Perfectly balanced soft-angled/ rounded brows with correct alignment and colour.....brow heaven! We love them so much here is another picture!

 

I apologise in advance as you may get sick of seeing Maria's gorgeous brows but I can officially state that I now have a brow crush! How gorgeous is her hair and make-up too!

 

Winner of the most Beautiful Brows.......Sophia Vergara

Balanced soft angle/rounded brows...Sophia's brows perfectly frame her features. Beautiful brows indeed.

Winner of the most Gorgeous Brows.......Jessica Biel

 

Jessica's brows are definitely gorgeous! 1-2 shades lighter than her dark hair, soft angled, balanced and brows that naturally frame her eyes.

 

Winner of the most Elegant Brows.......Jeannie Mai

 

Soft angled, balanced and the colour 1-2 shades lighter than her dark hair. You are drawn to her eyes which is exactly what a great brow shape can do.

 

Winner of the most Improved Brows.......Nicole Kidman

In the past few years Nicole's brows have been very unbalanced, which I believe is caused by botox. Publicly admitting she has given that up, her brows have softened on the ends and are now becoming more balanced. Her colour is 1-2 shades darker then her lighter hair, a soft angle with some definition in the brow makes these brows a standout and worthy of a mention.

Winner of the best GuyBrow.......Matthew Morrison

 

Mens brows need maintenaince too but it is important they stay looking like a man. Matthew's brows have been groomed and tidied but don't have that shaped look.

 

Winner of the Needs Brow Improvement.......Madonna

 

Those who know me will be in shock about this award as they know I am a long time Madonna fan. Yes, I have to admit she was my first record album I owned when I was 12. Yep  you read right, record album not cd or from itunes!  Please don't hold it against me ;-). Seriously Mads....come visit me sometime as you need a little help in the brow department and I would be so happy to help you out. The first thing I would do is enter you into 'Brow Rehab' to regain some of your natural shape and definition and design the brow that suits your face, eye and brow shape.

The Logies 2011 Brow Review......

Gold Logie Brows goes to Rebecca Gibney and Jessica Marais....both of them have great balanced and aligned brows with a lovely soft- angle to rounded shape that balances out the point of their chin. Suspect some threading may occur for these beautiful ladies.......Colour is 1-2 shades darker than hair colour which is the perfect colour for lighter hair shades.

Silver Logie Brows goes to Megan Gale and Katy Perry..... both of these ladies have very strong soft-angle to angled brows with great alignment and balance. Colour is 1-2 shades lighter than their hair colour which is just perfect for darker hair shades.

Logie Boo Boo Brows goes to Chrissie Swan.......unbalanced, very thick at start of brows and tapers to very thin.....right brow is too long.....definately needs some brow wow!

Gold Logie ManBrows goes to Hamish and Andy ....nice to see these boys with some male grooming with neat and tidy brows....just goes to show good brows are not just for the girls!

Logie Boo Boo ManBrows goes to the very funny host Shane Bourne ....It only took me half the show to realise his name was not Shane Warne! (LOL)

A few weeks ago I wrote an article about what your eyebrows say about you....Shane's eyebrows definately portray his occupation as a comedian! Do your brows portray your occupation?
